The Rain Continues
I'm on another writing gig based on interviews which are consuming a lot of time. It was my intention to write a short post about filters and photography to fill this space until next week, but, as often happens, what appeared to be a simple piece turned out to have much more depth than anticipated. So I'm leaving you with an image.
This is the dam at the Nicasio reservoir about twenty minutes West of my office. The spillway hasn't seen water flowing through it in seven years.
Californians are expressing their weariness of the wet weather under their breath. No one wants to jinx anything as we emerge from a seven year drought. All the creeks are running, the hills are green, and a few of the ski resorts have declared they're going to be open into June.
